What does he do at 2:24?

I've said it in the post just then, stamina. SSB is a draining form, and any chance he can get to regain some stamina by not using it is valuable due to how important stamina is in the ToP.

Lemme get this straight; you're ignoring every single instance of battle damage ever in any Dragon Ball series just to make Kale stronger?
You apply this logic to Goku but not to Kale which makes it bs. He dodged one blast. If he dodged them all then how did he end up under rubble? There's nothing above him, there's just ground. He was in the middle of a fight, so no he didn't transform back to base. When does this happen in the middle of a fight? Never.
Are you trying to tell me that every single one of those blasts is > SSB Goku, or so close to his power that they could do a lot of damage? That's the only possible way he could've been knocked out of SSB.

Oh, here's a question for you on that topic. If he was knocked out of it, why didn't he transform back into it straight away?
I doubt every blast was equal and Kale already gave him a beating, why can't his energy have been drained? All you did was duck my questions. If Goku can transform at a moments notice than why didn't he when Toppo attacked him?
Really? His energy was drained? How can you tell, was he panting?

He didn't feel the need to transform in that instance. And while you say I'm ducking your questions, you ducked mine too; why didn't he transform as soon as he got out of the rubble if he was knocked out of SSB?
You're still on that? SSB drains energy, so why'd he use it? Why not just use SSJ2. I mean like you say, no scratches so I guess Kale wasn't hurting him. Why not? It's freaking Toppo. Maybe cause when he got out the rubble he could see she wasn't still raging at him. How was he covered in rubble if there's nothing above him? And there was no reason to power-down.
